A twisted branch nested in smooth sand, pebbles against a dwindling sunset, the complex texture of tree bark. I feel an urge to make them all stand out in their raw form, undisturbed. I bring the physical elements into my photographs as an invitation to their endemic habitat. A hopeful effort to fool the mind of the observer and capture the true essence of Nature.
